Last week Her Turn Class 6 officially graduated from KOTO after completing their 6-month vocational training program. Proud is an understatement, as the KOTO staff have seen the hard work each of these young women has put into the program. The graduation ceremony was a testament to the dedication, patience and hard work of KOTO students. Your achievements not only inspire us but also affirm our commitment to creating positive change in society.
This is just the beginning of the journey for these young women as they embark on careers in hospitality across Vietnam. The growth in confidence we have seen since this class arrived at KOTO in September is enormous and we are confident there is a great career awaiting them.
To the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) Australian Embassy, Vietnam, we extend our heartfelt thanks for your generous funding through the HER TURN: Women Economic Empowerment Program over the last 6 years. The incredible lives you have changed through this project are now business owners, hospitality professionals, and active citizens who have gone far beyond our training program. Thank you for your trust in our work.
