HOW YOU CAN HELP
We invite individuals and organizations to sponsor an individual trainee or become a class sponsor! Our sponsors provide vital funds for the KOTO Trainee Sponsorship Program. Combined with the revenues from KOTO’s social enterprises – KOTO Van Mieu and catering – sponsorship funds enable 250 young persons each year to achieve their hospitality dream.
Join our dedicated individuals and organizations sponsoring trainees and follow their progress toward becoming hospitality professionals. Thank you to individuals and organizations such as, The Intrepid Foundation, Navitas, Roll’d, Experian, Lorinet Foundation, EM power and Australian AID. Sponsorships are tax deductible for Australian, UK and US taxpayers.
KOTO’s Trainee Sponsorship Program offers 3 sponsorship categories – Dream Maker Individual Trainee Sponsorship, Dream Maker Class Sponsorship (24 months) and Dream Maker Her Turn Class Sponsorship (6 months). New Class Sponsorship opportunities have been created to increase and spread the power of mentorship, raise levels of engagement between trainees and sponsors, and to widen our pool of sponsors!
Dream Maker - Individual Trainee Sponsors
$8,400 USD/ 12,000 AUD (one-time payment) OR 350 USD/ 500 AUD (monthly for 24 months).
The Dream Maker Individual trainee sponsorship covers the full cost of the traineeship’s holistic Education Program (KOTO Training Program) and Health/Wellbeing costs including accommodation, meals, living allowance, healthcare, travel and activities. Your investment will fully transform the life of a disadvantaged young person.
Sponsors receive a KOTO information pack, a profile of their trainee, progress reports and monthly connection opportunities with your trainee. We also keep you up-to-date through the KOTO monthly newsletter. Dream Maker sponsors receive an invitation to their trainee’s final assessment dinner and graduation.
NEW ! Dream Maker - Class Sponsorship (24 months)
$2,400 USD/ 3,600 AUD (one-time payment) OR 100 USD / 150 AUD per month for 24 months
As a Dream Maker Class Sponsor, you will be part of a group of dedicated sponsors supporting KOTO trainees in their
achievements at the class level. Class sponsors will collectively cover the Education (KOTO Training Program) and Health/Well-
being costs including accommodation, meals, living allowance, healthcare, travel and activities of a class for their entire 24 -
month training program. Class sponsors receive monthly connection points, a class profile, progress updates, favourite recipes, and an invitation to attend the class graduation.
New! Dream Maker - Her Turn Class Sponsorship (6 months)
$600 USD/ 900 AUD (one-time payment) OR 100 USD / 150 AUD per month for 6 months
As a Dream Maker Her Turn Class Sponsor, you will be part of a group of dedicated sponsors supporting KOTO Her Turn trainees in
their achievements at the class level. Her Turn is a 6-month hospitality vocational program for resilient young women from rural Vietnam. This program is uniquely designed for women who can't commit a full 24 months towards higher education
and are looking for a shorter course that will provide opportunities for their aspiring talents to shine in the hospitality industry. Participants will graduate with a certificate from KOTO and be supported to obtain employment upon completion of
the course. Class sponsors receive monthly connection points, a class profile, progress updates, favourite recipes, and an invitation to attend the class graduation.

The Internationally recognised Australian Hospitality or Commercial Cookery Certificate from Box Hill Institute, Melbourne Life skills
English language
Computer skills
Internship at a 5-star property.

The bank account details for direct transfer to KOTO International (Australia) and KOTO Vietnam are included on the Sponsor Sign-Up Form. For tax deductibility, Australian taxpayers are advised to pay via bank transfer to the KOTO International account or via the Give Now platform. For tax deductibility, UK and US taxpayers are advised to pay via the Global Giving platform. Other sponsors are advised to pay via bank transfer to the KOTO Vietnam account or the Global Giving platform.
